Hitman: Absolution online free
Hitman: Absolution review code came bundled with an online pass code for use with the game's new Contracts mode. If you didn't have a code you'd have to pay to use it. But now publisher Square-Enix has scrapped the need for a pass, making it free to all. Find out why below.
Indeed, VG247's review copy did come with an online pass inside the box, but Square-Enix has explained that while copies of the game will still have a code, that they should be ignored. Players can instead download the Contracts update for free via their respective online marketplaces.
Hitman: Absolution also introduces Contracts, a new online mode which allows gamers to create and share their own custom hit challenges within the game. They choose a level, targets, weapons and then set rules for completing the contract based on time, style and witnesses. As an asynchronous mode, players can compete against friends at any time, regardless of whether or not they are online. Upon accepting and successfully completing a contract, players will be rewarded in contract dollars which they can use to purchase weapons, disguises, upgrades, and techniques. Contracts is going to be free of charge for everybody who owns a copy of Hitman: Absolution. 2ff7e9595c
